What to Expect:

Intention Setting & Intuitive Sculpting:This workshop focuses on setting intentions for the new year and using intuition to guide your pottery practice. Participants will explore “intuitive sculpting,” an experimental method that doesn't aim toward a specific outcome. Pieces are unique and cannot be replicated as we work with instinct, response, and improvisation to create marks.

Explore Form, Texture, and Structure:Through body movements and gestures, you’ll experiment with clay’s form, texture, and structure, allowing the process to shape your work.

Craft a Unique Masterpiece:Design and create a one-of-a-kind ceramic incense burner and candle holder that reflects your personal journey and style.

Add Color:After sculpting, elevate your creation by underglazing it with a variety of colors.

Materials Provided:All necessary materials, including clay, tools, glaze, and firing service, will be provided. Your piece will be ready for pick-up in four weeks, or shipping options are available.
